Argentina move to the top position of South American World Cup Qualifying Campaign


Lionel Messi waved his magic once again as Argentina crushed Ecuador 4-0 to move to the top position of South American Word Cup Qualification Campaign. The South American giant lead the pack with 10 points from 5 games. The Barcelona maestro Messi worked his magic in the Argentine national team t-shirt this time. But it was the birthday boy Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero who celebrated his 24th birthday by scoring the first goal in the 19th minute.



Then Messi beat three defenders to set up Real Mdrid’s Gonzalo Higuain whose classy finish beat Dominguez in the Ecuadorian goal in the 29th minute.Two minutes letter Messi scored the third. This time Messi ran 35 yards and have a one –two with Higuain before finally putting the ball in the net to score his 23rd goal for Argentina. Fifteen minutes later, Messi had another magical run. This time he left four Ecuadorians behind and took the shot on goal. Substitute Jose Sosa grabbed the rebound and passed to Di Maria, who volleyed home to round off the scoring in the 75th minute.
